In the UK, a Letter from the Last Century Was Found, in Which a Child Predicted the Future (PHOTO)

A resident of the UK discovered an old letter while repairing old furniture for a client. Upon reading it, he was shocked at how accurately it predicted the future. The Mirror reports this.

According to the source, the letter is dated February 23, 1969. It was written by an 11-year-old girl, who described how she imagined the world in 1980. She managed to predict a major shift in technology with remarkable accuracy, though it happened a bit later than she envisioned. The child wrote that soon the telephone would have a different appearance. It would resemble a television somewhat, and you would be able to see your conversation partner in real-time. The girl also described future televisions.

In her imagination, they appeared much larger than they were at the time, with big screens. And you could switch channels without getting up from the chair, as they would be built into the armrest. Additionally, the girl described in the letter that soon doors in houses would open by themselves; you would only need to press a button.

However, one of the child’s predictions did not come true. She envisioned that in the future, all food would disappear, and people would be able to satisfy their hunger with a single chewing gum that would completely replace food. And after that, there would be no need to wash dishes. The man who found the letter, along with his wife, decided to make it public to try to find the original author who predicted the future. The woman should be 62 years old today.
