Bill Gates has warned that as AI advances, many jobs will become obsolete. While not quite a sci-fi dystopia, the shift could still be disruptive.

However, Gates believes three professions will remain safe:

• Coders – AI can generate code, but it still needs humans to monitor, debug, and develop more advanced systems.

• Energy Experts – The complexity of oil, nuclear, and renewable energy sectors requires human strategy and expertise.

• Biologists – AI can assist with data analysis and disease diagnosis but lacks the creativity needed for scientific breakthroughs.

Gates acknowledges he could be wrong, but he expects AI to reshape society much like the internet and the industrial revolution.
