Donald Trump has no plans to deport Prince Harry, despite a lawsuit questioning his immigration status. However, he took a swipe at Meghan Markle, calling her “terrible.”
A conservative think tank, The Heritage Foundation, alleges Harry may have concealed past drug use when applying for a U.S. visa. His memoir, Spare, details past cocaine and cannabis use. The lawsuit aims to force the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to release his visa records, arguing Joe Biden gave him preferential treatment.
Trump previously hinted Harry could be deported if he lied on his application. U.S. visa laws restrict applicants with drug offenses, though waivers can be granted. Judge Carl Nichols has asked the DHS to consider making some visa records public.
Heritage is pushing for a future Trump administration to release the files, but Harry’s visa type remains unknown. Reports suggest he could hold a rare diplomatic visa (A-1), which wouldn’t require drug history disclosure.
Trump praised Prince William, calling him a “great young man,” and reiterated his dislike for Meghan, whom he previously called “nasty.”
Meanwhile, Meghan spoke at the Invictus Games, sharing how their family—including children Archie and Lilibet—supports Harry’s dedication to veterans.
