A resident of the English town of Northumberland captured a ghost near his one-year-old daughter’s cradle. The mystical phenomenon was caught on video, reports the Daily Mail.

A man named Stephen noticed a white silhouette near his daughter’s cradle. The frightening moment was captured on video by a baby monitor. The footage shows an object resembling a hand moving towards the sleeping child and then disappearing.

He said he doesn’t believe in ghosts, but he was so scared that he froze in place. Stephen admitted that it took him some time to gather the courage to enter his daughter’s room. The father also claims that shortly before the incident, a doll appeared in the child’s cradle, which no one had placed there.
