Everyone is pointing out same ‘crazy’ detail as Katy Perry lands back on Earth after Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin space flight

Katy Perry has returned safely after a brief spaceflight with an all-female crew, including Aisha Bowe, Kerianne Flynn, Amanda Nguyễn, Gayle King, and Lauren Sánchez. The 11-minute Blue Origin flight marked the first all-female space mission since 1963.

Although the rocket crossed the Karman Line (62 miles above Earth, often considered the edge of space), some argue it didn’t technically reach space, sparking debate online.

The capsule’s landing also drew attention. While a commentator described it as “very soft,” video clips showed a hard impact, dust clouds, and the crew’s startled screams. Viewers compared it to Dorothy’s house crashing in The Wizard of Oz.

Many also pointed out how short the flight was, with jokes about Perry’s music charting longer than the trip. Others questioned Perry’s inclusion, but Sánchez explained she handpicked the women for their inspirational roles and storytelling ability.
