Donald Trump was mocked online after ranting on Truth Social about his portrait at Colorado’s Capitol, calling it “purposefully distorted” and comparing it unfavorably to Barack Obama’s.

Despite claiming many in Colorado were “angry” about the painting, the portrait was actually unveiled in 2019 and commissioned by Republican state senator Kevin Grantham through a GoFundMe campaign. Artist Sarah A. Boardman insisted she portrayed Trump neutrally.

Social media users ridiculed Trump’s outburst, with many calling him “insecure” and joking about his focus on trivial issues.
