Rapper and Hollywood movie star Gene Allen has died at the age of 63. The star, whose middle name was ‘Groove,’ passed away suddenly at home, leaving his family in shock, it has been claimed.
The family also told TMZ that Gene died on Wednesday.
Gene appeared in a number of movies like the 1990 comedy House Party and its sequel, as well as the 1993 Tina Turner film What’s Love Got to Do With It? starring Angelina Bassett.
And he played a ‘street photographer’ in the 1992 movie Boomerang with Eddie Murphy, Robin Givens and Halle Berry.
Allen also did a lot of voiceover work and gigs on the radio after his movie career.
