Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) announced plans to introduce Articles of Impeachment against President Donald Trump, citing his support for “ethnic cleansing” in Gaza.

Green’s move follows Trump’s meeting with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, where he suggested using U.S. troops to take control of Gaza and proposed turning it into the “Riviera of the Middle East.”

Trump, previously impeached twice and acquitted, defended his vision, emphasizing reconstruction and economic development. However, with Republicans controlling Congress, Green’s effort is unlikely to gain traction.
