Newly re-elected President Donald Trump has issued a series of controversial executive orders, including pardoning nearly a dozen pro-life activists convicted under the FACE Act.
Trump called them “peaceful protesters” and claimed they were unfairly prosecuted, fulfilling a campaign promise. The pardons were signed before the March for Life rally in Washington, D.C.
Pro-life groups praised Trump, arguing the activists were victims of Biden’s politicized Justice Department. Critics, however, condemned the move as a dangerous misuse of presidential power.
