She disappeared from Hollywood despite her success. At 60 years old, she is unrecognizable

Bridget Jane Fonda, born January 27, 1964, in Los Angeles, came from a legendary Hollywood dynasty. Daughter of actor Peter Fonda and niece of Jane Fonda, her grandfather was the iconic Henry Fonda. She pursued acting, graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and training at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.

Fonda debuted in 1987’s Aria but gained recognition with Scandal (1989). Her breakout came in the same year with Shag. In the 1990s, she solidified her status in Hollywood, appearing in The Godfather Part III (1990) and earning acclaim for Single White Female (1992). Versatility defined her career, with roles in Point of No Return (1993), Singles (1992), and Jackie Brown (1997). Her dramatic turn in A Simple Plan (1998) earned her an Emmy nomination.

In 2003, she married composer Danny Elfman, with whom she has a son, Oliver. After their marriage, Fonda retired to focus on her family, stepping away from the spotlight.
