Teaching children sympathy can make the world a better place. Six New York siblings—a 10-year-old, twins, and triplets—were deeply affected when their close friend lost his battle with cancer. During his chemo treatments, his hair fell out, which saddened them. After his passing, they decided to grow their hair long to donate it to cancer patients in his memory.
The siblings kept their plan secret, even from their mother. As their hair grew, they faced teasing from classmates, who called them names and said they looked like girls. Despite this, they stayed committed to their goal.
When the time came, they donated a remarkable 17 feet of hair in total. Their compassion and determination serve as an inspiring example of love and kindness.
