Canadian pop legend Celine Dion, 55, has canceled all her 2024 concerts due to her battle with Stiff-Person Syndrome, a severe neurological condition impacting her ability to sing.
In a heartfelt video, Dion apologized to fans, saying, “I’m sorry to disappoint you all… we should postpone things until I’m truly ready.” She assured fans she wasn’t giving up and expressed hope for a future return to the stage.
The cancellation impacts her Courage World Tour, which was set to restart in Amsterdam in August and end at London’s O2 Arena. Dion had performed 52 shows before the COVID-19 pandemic halted the tour and previously canceled its North American leg due to health issues.
Stiff-Person Syndrome causes severe muscle spasms and stiffness in the torso, arms, and legs, making it difficult for Dion to use her vocal cords. She deeply regrets not being able to continue her European tour as planned.
