Everyone likes a change now and then, whether it’s a new hairstyle or a refreshed wardrobe. For American Rosa Ramirez, the time had finally come to cut her hair after 25 years.
Her husband had often encouraged her to change her six-foot hair, but she was always proud of it. Finally, she decided to have it cut to shoulder-length, visiting the salon with friends for the big change.
Salon owner Eda Mochka shared, “We see a lot of clients, but Rosa was always the same.”
But Rosa had a purpose—she donated four feet of her hair to Locks of Love, a foundation that makes wigs for children battling cancer. “It can brighten the day of someone affected by illness,” she said.
